The Keauhou Ranch Fire was reportedly 90 percent contained Wednesday afternoon.
The fire has burned more than 3,700 acres, mostly inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the slopes of Mauna Loa.
Park spokeswoman Jessica Ferracane said it appears that most of the ‘i‘iwi habitat in the area has been spared.
