Born in Kurtistown, she was a seamstress, homemaker, volunteer at the North Hawaii Community Hospital gift shop, performed Japanese tea ceremony, member of Waimea Heritage Cherry Blossom Festival Committee, Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Kamuela Japanese Civic Association and Kamuela Senior Citizens.
