Rotarian’s from Higashi-Hiroshima, Japan, sister club of the Rotary Club of Hilo Bay, recently made a special presentation during the Hilo Bay club’s annual installation banquet and commemoration of its 30th anniversary. Higashi-Hiroshima President Takashi Shohara presented a check for $1,355 to Rotary Club of Hilo Bay President Dale Tokuuke. The monetary donation will go toward those who had their lives disrupted because of the lava flow in lower Puna. From left are Tokuuke, Shohara, District Gov.
