Hawaii Photo Shooters members Lee Schechtman and Steve Bohlert will discuss “Post-Processing of Images” during the club’s 6 p.m. meeting Thursday in Room D-202 of the Komohana Agriculture Research &Extension Center.

Post-processing is essentially the digital equivalent of the darkroom. It can turn a good picture into a great one and occasionally a poor image into an acceptable one.

Schechtman will discuss basic steps that he uses to correct exposure, color balance, sharpness and composition.

Bohlert will demonstrate software that allows more dramatic manipulation, using ON1 Photo Raw 2018 software.

The meeting is free and open to the public. The research center is located at 875 Komohana St. For more information, visit www.hawaiiphotoshooters.com.
