Ronald “Ron” Manuel Aranita, 82, of Keaau died June 3 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Kunia, Oahu, he was a retired weather technician for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and member of Keaau Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Keaau Senior Golf Club. Visitation 8:15-9 a.m. Friday (July 6) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua section. Casual attire. Thomas Ballesteros Jr., 42, of Kona died June 23 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Pahala, he was a farm laborer and Hawaii National Guardsman. Louise Gun Hoa Haanio, 103, of Kailua-Kona died May 19 at Wahiawa General Hospital on Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was an employee of several Chinese restaurants in Hilo and member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and Keauhou Kumiai. Visitation 1-2:45 p.m. Friday (July 6) at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona. Funeral Mass at 3 p.m. Visitation again 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday (July 7) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel.
