A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday afternoon on the south flank of Kilauea volcano.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said it is not large enough to cause a tsunami.

The quake occurred in the Hilina region of the volcano at 2:24 p.m.
