Julia Barbosa Gonzaga, 84, of Pahala died May 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in North Bacsil, Bangued, Abra, Philippines, she was a retired harvester for Mac Farms of Hawaii and member of Pahala Holy Catholic Church. All-night vigil 6 p.m. Friday (June 22) at the family home, 96-1170 Holei St., Pahala. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday (June 23) at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Burial to follow at church cemetery. Survived by husband, Domingo U. Leroy Lihau Lewi, 60, of Waimea died April 26 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hamakua, he was a groundskeeper and banquet porter for the former Kona Surf Resort, mechanic’s helper for Kona Country Club and meat cutter for Island Pork Produce. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Sunday (June 24) at Kona Palisades Recreation Center. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Patrocinio “Pat” “Cinio” P. Sacayanan, 70, of Papaaloa died May 31 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired seed cutter for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Marchuma “Mollie” Cabatoan Salomon, 87, of Kailua-Kona, formerly of Kukaiau, died June 3 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Olaa, she was a homemaker, member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and member of Pueo Hawaii kupuna softball team. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Friday (June 22) at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. Burial at a later date at Kukaiau County Cemetery.
