Hilo’s Lacey Uchida is a young lady with options.

Finishing up a whirlwind tour at Waiakea Kings’ Course, the Waiakea sophomore carded a 4-over 76 on Wednesday to tie for first at the Aloha PGA Championship.

Uchida and co-medalist Reese Guzman, who closed with a 74, each finished at 9-over during 36 holes in the girls 13-18 division to secure berths to the Girls Junior PGA Championship, slated for July 9-12 in Lexington, Kentucky.

Uchida matched her first-round scorecard by making two more birdies, this time on the par-5 No. 2 and the par-4 No. 13.

The first round Tuesday also served as the second round of qualifying for the Junior World Golf Championships, and Uchida used a 77 to reach worlds, set for July 10-13 in San Diego.

In the boys flight, Waiakea’s Isaiah Kanno (75) and Hilo’s High Riley Kaneshiro (77) tied for fourth at 14-over.
