Eve Aiko Hirano, 90, of Hilo died April 15 at Hilo Medical Center. She was a retired meat wrapper for the former Food Fair Supermarket. Private services held. Violet “Fatty” Acedillo Lee, 89 of Honolulu, formerly of Kapaau, died April 19 in Honolulu. She was born in Niulii, North Kohala. Arleen Amy Maeda, 73, of Hilo died May 2 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, she was a retired Central Pacific Bank teller and previously worked for Bank of Hawaii. Private services held. Noboru Nagashima, 94, of Hilo died April 27 at home. Born in Paia, Maui, he was a fisherman and veteran of the U.S. Army of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and Purple Heart recipient.
