Lillian Kimiko Matsubara Ide, 83, of Hilo died May 7 at Hawaii Care Choices. Born in Hilo, she was a retired licensed practical nurse for the former Hilo Hospital and member of Hospital Retirees Association and Hilo Church of God. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by husband, John H. Ide of Hilo; daughters, JoAnn (Joel) Wasson of Kaneohe, Oahu, and Karen (Cesar) Robledo of Hilo; son, John Ide Jr. of Honolulu; brother, William A. Albert “Alie” Elliss Kaulia, 73, of Waimea died April 9 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired Federal Aviation Administration administrative executive, member of Waimea Hawaiian Civic Club and U.S. Air Force veteran. Private service held. No flowers. Mabel L. Wilson, 73, of Keaau died April 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker, member of Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Alu Like Kupunas.
