Elaine Sachiko Hiraishi, 82, of Kailua-Kona died April 27 at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Hilo, she was retired and a former co-owner of Blondie’s. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Sunday, June 3, at Kealakehe High School baseball field. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. No flowers. Survived by husband, Walter Hiraishi of Kailua-Kona; sons, Aaron Hiraishi, Jerry (Paula) Hiraishi and Hank Hiraishi of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Ann (Neil) McCue of California; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Tane Renee Love-Noguchi, 62, of Waikoloa died April 23 in Waikoloa. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. Memorial services 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Kawaihae Canoe Club. Mildred “Millie” Tsuyuko Uchima, 89, of Hilo died May 6 at home. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a retired teacher and librarian at Hilo Union School, member of Hawaii State Teachers Association, Alpha Delta Kappa, Hui Okinawa and Church of the Holy Cross, and docent at Pacific Tsunami Museum. Visitation 3:30-5 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Lester (Roxana) Uchima of Hilo and Cory (Lynne) Uchima of Pukalani, Maui; sister, Amy Shiroma of Hilo; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; nephews, nieces and cousins.
