Elen Inez King Hatayama, 37, of Keaau died April 5 at Hawaii Care Choices’ Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a former library technician for Mountain View Library. Celebration of life 1 p.m. Saturday (May 5) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Keaau Ward, corner of Orchidland Drive and Keaau-Pahoa Road. Survived by husband, Daniel Hatayama of Keaau; mother, Dora King of Pahoa; brothers, Christopher King of Texas and David King Jr. of Mountain View; sisters, Harmony (Edgar Niro) King of Pahoa and Kiana King of Hilo; brother-in-law, Randall Hatayama of Hilo; sister-in-law, Valerie Hatayama of Keaau; six nieces, two nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Henry K. Keliikoa, 82, of Hilo died April 18 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Waiohinu, he was a retired supervisor for Kiyosaki Tractor Works Inc., heavy equipment operator and member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, Keaukaha Ward. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday (May 5) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hilo Stake Center. Funeral service at noon. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Survived by wife, Florence “Flo” Keliikoa of Hilo; sons, Jonathan K. (Tess) Keliikoa of Honolulu, Harvey K. Keliikoa and Hiram K. Keliikoa of Hilo; daughters, Raynette (Richard) Oei of Honolulu, Geraldine Ooka, Belinda (Dias) Soram and Jessica (Graylen) Kaleohano of Hilo; sisters, Camilia Kaleohano of Kona and Bernadette Kailiawa and Kathy Hashimoto of Pahala; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeffrey Dean Masaichi Kunimitsu, 59, of Hilo died March 23 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired mechanic, owner of the former Jeff’s Auto Body and fisherman. Survived by sons, Shayne (April) Kunimitsu of Lanai and Jake (Linga) Kunimitsu of Hilo; father, Kenichi Kunimitsu of Hilo; sister, Becky (Robin) Kow of Hilo; two granddaughters; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Anna Katherine Neill, 91, of Keaau died April 16 at Hawaii Care Choices’ Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Oklahoma, she was a retired bookkeeper for the former Neill Sign Co. and member of Pahoa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Memorial service 2 p.m. Saturday (May 5) at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Paradise Drive and 25th Avenue, Hawaiian Paradise Park. Survived by sons, Steven (Karen) Neill of Kapoho and John Calvin “Cal” (Jeanene) Neill of Idaho; daughter, Jeanne Collier of Keaau; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Geraldine “Leina” Leinaala Ooka, 61, of Hilo died April 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired bus driver for Akita Enterprises, former bus driver for Roberts Hawaii and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ainaola Ward, ‘Aha Puhala O Puna Lauhala Club and Kamana Senior Center. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Saturday (May 5) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 7 p.m. Graveside dedicatory prayer 9 a.m. Monday, May 7, at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Casual attire.
