Volleyball tryouts

AMP Volleyball club will be holding tryouts for females ages 14-18 from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Panaewa Gym.

These teams will be coached by former UH Wahine and professional player Tai Manu-Olevao and and Poli Olevao-Kahapea too.

Volleyball camp

The Department of Parks & Recreation at Hilo Armory will offer a peewee volleyball camp for youths 7-11 years old on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-5:30 p.m.

The program runs from April 23 to May 23 and will emphasize the basic fundamentals – everything from pass-set-hit, footwork to teamwork skills.

Sunrise sign-ups

Sunrise Athletics Summer Track & Field Program will have open registration from April 21-29, or until the club has reached its max enrollment.
