Makana Kalua‘u and Tupu Toafili combined on a three-hitter, and Kealakehe defeated Keaau 10-1 in five-inning BIIF game on Tuesday at the Cougars field.

Kalua‘u pitched four innings for the win. He allowed two hits, one walk and struck out seven. Toafili gave up a run on a hit in one inning.

Toby Estrella batted 2 for 3 with an RBI, and Felix Guerpo had a triple and three RBIs for the Waveriders (4-5).

Bryant Respicio-Mercado went two inning in the loss. Delvin Ongais-Kilaulani, Christopher Mamone, and Edward Oguma each threw a frame.

No one paired hits for the Cougars (1-10).

Konawaena 8, Kohala 3: Kolu Alani knocked in three runs, Kanai Rivera batted 2 for 2, and Andrew Udac and AJ Allred scored two runs each for the Wildcats (6-5).

Allred went three innings, and Udac followed with an inning of one-run relief in the four-inning, rain-shortened game in Kapaau.

Gideon Rabang pitched three innings in the loss, and Zak Javillonar followed with an inning.

Javillonar and Ryan Kealoha had RBIs for the Cowboys (0-11).
