Mark Charles Carpenter, 72, of South Kohala died April 3 at home. Born in Oakland, Calif., he was a real estate professional, physicist and woodworker. Private services. Thomas Mack Cawthon, 88, of Kailua-Kona died March 24 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Cannon, Ga., he was a chemist. Private services at a later date. Allan J. Deehr, 75, of Keaau died Feb. 14 in Surprise, Ariz. Born in Milwaukee, he was a retired circuit judge for the County of Manitowoc, Wis., held leadership positions at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, consulted for the Diocese of Honolulu and Food Bank of Hawaii, played senior softball and was an avid bicyclist. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Service at 10 a.m. Memorial donations to Hawaii Island Food Basket. Wanda Lucille Fabia, 81, of Hilo died April 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Caruthersville, Mo., she was a retired electronics technician. No services.
