Kimie “Lillian” Tanihiro, 90, of Hilo died March 4 at home. Born in Kahei, Kohala, she was retired from the former Yamamoto Credit Jewelers, attended Hawaii Island Adult Care and was a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Hiroshima Kenjin Kai. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Saturday (April 14) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by son, Patrick (Doreen) Tanihiro of Hilo; daughters, Lorna (Francisco Ramos) Hanamoto and Jo Ann (Robert S. Born in Honokaa, she was a former baker at KTA Super Stores, cashier at Foodland, floral and lei designer, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimea 1st Ward.
