The UH-Hilo senior slugger proved once again that she’s the straw that stirs the drink for the Vulcans with a pair of dramatic walk-off home runs.
Gaspar blasted UH-Hilo to victory Thursday with an eighth-inning home run against Azusa Pacific, and her homer in the seventh Monday against Cal Baptist might not just be a season saver.
For the week, Gaspar went 10 for 22 (.454) with nine RBIs and those two big flies.
