A wet weekend is predicted for Hawaii Island, which remains under a flash flood watch until Presidents Day.
The National Weather Service advises residents to be on the lookout for flooding over roads from noon today until 6 p.m. Monday.
The watch follows a Friday evening flood advisory for eastern regions of the island.
In Hilo, chances of heavy rain will fluctuate from 50 percent to 70 percent throughout the weekend, with possible thunderstorms Sunday and Monday.
The Maunakea and Mauna Loa summits also are under a winter storm watch until Monday evening, with heavy snowfall and wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour forecast.
