The 30th annual Young at Art juried student art exhibition will open at 10 a.m. March 3 at the East Hawaii Cultural Center/Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art in Hilo.

The annual free show, organized by the Hawaii District Department of Education and volunteer staff, celebrates National Youth Art Month through recognition of excellence, creativity and originality in visual art.

The exhibition will remain on view through March 30 and is open to all Big Island public, charter and private and home-schooled students grades K-12.

It will be juried by Kay Sakai, Codie King and Emily Leucht, who will award prizes provided by generous donations from Hawaii individuals and businesses.

All families are invited to support the young artists.
