The UH-Hilo freshman center made a living at the free-throw line Monday night, hitting 11 of 12 shot from the charity stripe in the final 42 seconds as the Vuls surprised Notre Dame de Namur on the road 81-76.

Navarette scored a career-high 26 points, giving the Torrance, Calif., native 41 points and 13 rebounds in her past two games.

With UHH needing someone to step up with the absence of Kim Schmelz (redshirt), Navarette is averaging 13.7 points per game.
