An alert received on people’s cellphones this morning saying a ballistic missile was incoming to Hawaii and to seek immediate shelter was a false alarm, authorities confirmed this morning.
County Civil Defense put out an email saying the false alarm was triggered at the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency by mistake.
