Photographer Christina Bjornen will give a presentation of her recent trip to Peru during the next Hawaii Photo Shooters meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Komohana Agriculture Research and Extension Center, Room D-202.

While in Peru, Bjornen joined the True Legends Expedition and Conference organized by Steve Quayle, researcher, author and frequent guest on the talk radio show “Coast to Coast.”

The expedition featured a tour to the Coricancha, the central temple of Incan civilization, where world-renown Spanish archaeologist Anselm Pi Rambla conducted his excavations into the underground tunnel system he claims runs throughout the Andes.

Bjornen will show her photographs taken at Machu Picchu, Saksaywaman and Ollantaytambo, which displays compelling evidence of a lost civilization.

The research and extension center is located at 875 Komohana St. For more information, call 969-8258, email sc_miyasaka@yahoo.com or visit www.hawaiiphotoshooters.com.
