The Aloha Exchange Club of East Hawaii recently honored Puna Patrol Officer Paul Wright as the East Hawaii Officer of the Month for November.

Wright was commended for his work in tracking down a stolen vehicle in Mountain View and the suspected thieves and recovering property stolen in Eden Roc and arresting several suspects.

Wright was nominated for the award by Sgt. Juergen Canda.

“The initiative displayed by Officer Wright in both of these cases is indicative of his dedication to duty,” Canda said.

The East Hawaii Officer of the Month award is a project of the Aloha Exchange Club of East Hawaii.
