The Department of Land and Natural Resources’ Hunter Education Program will conduct an advanced Hunter Education Game Care workshop on the Big Island from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Kamuela Hunter Education Classroom in Waimea.
This workshop is offered free of charge and open to any Hunter Education graduate. The approximately four-hour workshop builds on game care principles covered in the basic Hunter Education course and provides real demonstrations on topics including: field dressing, deboning, meat preparation and recipes.
