Hawaii County has announced the maintenance closure schedule for the following parks:
• Ahalanui Park: 6 a.m.-1 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month, with the exception of October when the closure will be the first Wednesday.
• Isaac Kepo‘okalani Hale Beach Park: Third Thursday of each month, and reopened at 1 p.m. the following day. No overnight camping permits will be issued the night before the closure date.
• Kahlu‘u Beach Park: First or second Tuesday of each month until 10 a.m.
• Spencer Beach Park: All day on the following dates: Jan. 10-11; Feb. 7-8; March 14-15; April 11-12; May 15-17; Sept. 11-13; Oct. 17-18; Nov. 14-15; Dec. 12-13.
