Police seek suspect in Oct. 14 shoplifting

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man they say shoplifted a watch on Oct. 14 from the AT&T Mobility store in the Ben Franklin building on Kilauea Avenue in downtown Hilo.

The man is described as Caucasian, possibly in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, with light to medium skin, light brown hair, possibly in a ponytail, tattoos, and blue eyes.

He was seen wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants, a green or gray backpack, and gray shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311.
