Kamehameha graduate Kaiu Ahuna had her say for UC Riverside, but Hawaii fought back after dropping the first two sets to earn its eighth win in a row Saturday night in Southern California.

McKenna Granato overcame a rough start to finish with a match-high 22 kills for the Rainbow Wahine (10-5, 4-0 Big West) while Casey Castillo and Emily Maglio both finished with 14 kills apiece in the 20-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-7 victory.

Granato finished strong, pummelling 13 kills with no errors in the final two sets. She finished with her sixth double-double of the season with 11 digs.

Recording double digit kills for the ninth time this season, Ahuna helped the Highlanders (8-8, 0-4) take UH to five sets for the first time in 23 meetings. The junior hit .302.
