Donations are welcomed for Kaumana Elementary School’s annual PTSA-sponsored rummage sale from 7 a.m.-noon Oct. 7 in the school cafeteria.

Money raised during the benefit provides funds for class expenses, excursions and cultural plays and events.

“We are grateful to our community for all the support annually,” second-grade teacher Noelani Spencer said of the traditional event.

Donations of recycled items will be accepted from 2:30-5 p.m. Oct. 5-6 outside the cafeteria, upper parking lot. Friday is preferred to ensure better storage. Donation receipts will be given upon request. No computers, monitors, and TVs will be accepted.

“On the day of the sale, please come out and support our students so we can provide them with many learning opportunities,” Spencer said.

For more information, contact Spencer at 974-4190 after 2:15 p.m. Monday through Friday or email Noelani_Spencer@notes.k12.hi.us.
