As a prelude to its fall art exhibition, Hawai‘i Nei is offering an art adventure from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Kamehameha Schools Keauhou Ranch in Ka‘u.

As a prelude to its fall art exhibition, Hawai‘i Nei is offering an art adventure from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Kamehameha Schools Keauhou Ranch in Ka‘u.

Participants of the interpretive hike through Keauhou will explore the native flora and fauna found within this unique ahupua‘a.

In addition to the hike, there will be a kapala-inspired block-carving workshop led by Hawai‘i Nei committee member Emily Leucht.

The hike will take place on uneven terrain and will be about 2 miles roundtrip. All ages and artistic abilities are welcome to attend.

Registration as well as a $15 material and supplies fee is required in advance. Space is limited.
