Bob Peck and Susan Miyasaka will lead a free discussion about macro photography during the next meeting of the Hawaii Photo Shooters at 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Komohana Research and Extension Center.

Peck will share images of insects and other arthropods and share methods for capturing such close-up shots, including macro lenses, flashes and image stacking. Miyasaka will show images of plants and discuss tips for shooting close-ups of flowers, including color correction.

Hawaii Photo Shooters is a digital photography club for beginners and mentors. The meeting will take place in Room D-202 of the center, 875 Komohana St.
