Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying two women whose images were captured on surveillance video in connection with thefts and fraudulent use of a credit card in several North Kohala stores.

Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying two women whose images were captured on surveillance video in connection with thefts and fraudulent use of a credit card in several North Kohala stores.

At about 4:15 p.m. July 23, the women entered Island Short-Stop &Deli and A. Arakaki Store and made purchases with a stolen credit card, police said.

One suspect is described as Polynesian, in her mid-20s, 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall, 145 pounds with black hair and fair complexion.

The other suspect is described as Portuguese, in her 30s, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, heavyset, fair complexion, blackish brown hair, last seen wearing a white dress with blue designs and had a partial sleeve tattoo on her right shoulder.

They reportedly left in a white or silver Acura SUV.

Anyone with any information about the suspects or incident is asked to call the police nonemergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
