Grants target island shooters

Two NRA Foundation grants awarded to On Target Inc., a Hawaii Island-based nonprofit, will enhance the organization’s ability to deliver safe and responsible shooting education and recreational programs to the community.

A total of 14 new Remington shotguns were acquired in a mix of stock and barrel lengths to accommodate adult and youth shooters. They will be used in On Target’s Basic Shotgun Shooting instruction program and support the island’s Scholastic Clays Target Program team.

The SCTP is a clay target shooting activity for young people, fifth grade through college.
