The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo is offering a course about Russian culture.

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo is offering a course about Russian culture.

Classes will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, July 5-26, at UH-Hilo’s Kanaka‘ole Hall, Room 112. The cost is $45.

Exploring Russian Culture will provide participants with an overview of Russian history, politics, food, drinks, literature, ballet, family traditions and superstitions. The class is interactive, with questions and discussion encouraged.

Instructor Olga Sideleva is a native of Russia who has a Ph.D. in genetics as well as professional certifications as a teacher and cook in the Russian Federation.
