Thanks to eight barbers and other volunteers, a number of homeless people in Hilo received free haircuts, beverages and snacks May 8 during “Cuts for a Cause” at the Salvation Army’s downtown Hilo location. The event was organized by East Hawaii stylist Colby Pilor and sponsored by entrepreneur T’jaye Forsythe and his Rustyboar crew. Pilor thanks everyone who helped make the event a success.
