Police are seeking leads on the whereabouts of a 24-year-old Puna man they say rammed two police cars with a stolen Honda sedan to elude capture.

Lucas Ryan Rivera is wanted for a no-bail probation revocation warrant and contempt of court, as well as questioning in several ongoing investigations, including two for unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle.

Police say at about 9:30 a.m. Monday, they spotted Rivera in Hawaiian Acres and attempted to apprehend him. He then allegedly got into a 1991 gray Honda sedan reported stolen Sunday in Volcano, then reversed at a high rate of speed, ramming two unoccupied police vehicles before fleeing.

Anyone with information on Rivera is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
