Hawaii County crews will test their response to a tsunami during exercises this week.
The exercises are scheduled for 9-11 a.m. today and Friday.
Talmadge Magno, county Civil Defense administrator, said workers will practice getting to staging areas where roadblocks would be set up in the event of a tsunami.
No roadblocks will be used.
The exercise will focus on East Hawaii today and West Hawaii on Friday, he said.
