The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo is offering Plant Propagation FUNdamentals with ecologist, horticulturist and land planner Zach Mermel from 9 a.m.-noon April 29 at the Forest TEAM Greenhouse on the Manono Campus.

Tuition is $35.

This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of plant propagation, including varietal selection, propagation tools, rooting-out environment and other methods for rapidly expanding the plant biodiversity for gardens, homesteads or farms.
