The free sessions are scheduled throughout the year at the county Aging and Disability Resource Center, the program’s co-sponsor, and do not require an attorney.
An advance health care directive is an important gift to loved ones so they won’t have to guess what an ailing family member wants if they no longer can speak for themselves.
For those who already have a living will, a health care power of attorney or an advance health care directive, session leaders will help people review them to be sure it meets their needs.
It’s not easy to talk about how you want the end of your life to be. But it’s one of the most important conversations that you can have with your loved ones.
Bring your family and loved ones with you to learn about this important topic together.
