Photographer Mary Bowman-DeMent presents “A Week of Photography in Maine: The Quiet Landscape” at 6 p.m. Thursday during the next Hawaii Photo Shooters meeting at the Komohana Agriculture Research and Extension Center break room.
Bowman-DeMent will share her experience of an intense and focused week of landscape photography at Maine Media in Rockport, Maine, taught by Jacob and Alissa Hessler. Topics covered included minimalism and negative space, portfolio reviews and finding your voice.
The presentation is free and open to the public. The Komohana Agriculture Research and Extension Center is located at 875 Komohana St. in Hilo.
