Big Island police on March 3, 2016, responded to a report of a body partially submerged in a stream.

Thaine Ulysses Lucifer Price, 49, of Honokaa was transported to Hilo Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said early on that he was murdered.

Now, nearly a year later, the Police Department says detectives concluded their investigation and “the case has been routed to the office of the prosecuting attorney for review.”
