Neighborhood Place of Puna was selected as a beneficiary of the Ohana Fuels ‘Fuel Up. Do Good’ program.

Ohana Fuels partners with nonprofit organizations that serve the needs of the local community and donates a portion of sales from every gallon of gasoline purchased at all Ohana Fuels stations in that community. During the months of January through March 2017, a portion of sales at all Big Island Ohana fuels locations will be donated to Neighborhood Place of Puna.

Neighborhood Place of Puna is a child abuse and neglect prevention program.

“Our experienced staff provides intensive in-home coaching to ensure that families have the resources, knowledge and skills they need to create a safe and nurturing environment in which to raise their children,” said executive director Paul Normann.

“We value the exceptional work Neighborhood Place of Puna does to help our local ohana,” said Kimo Haynes, president of Hawaii Petroleum.
