Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel welcomes four-piece alternative folk-pop band Streetlight Cadence to the Hapuna Ballroom for one night only, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday for a special holiday concert.

Streetlight Cadence, the 2015 and 2016 Na Hoku Hanohano Award Winner for Alternative Album of the Year, started on the streets of Waikiki. What began as a means to pay for groceries turned into a full-time career for this group of friends. The band has spent the past six years honing their craft as songwriters and entertainers. Although they come from a strict classical background of musical performance, the men of Streetlight Cadence are anything but your typical quartet.

Wayne Harada of the Honolulu Star Advertiser has called Streetlight Cadence “the most refreshing breeze to hit our shores in years.” He goes on to say that the ensemble offers unconventional instrumentation served with warm engaging ambiance.

Concert tickets are $40 and $20 for youth/students. A special concert and dinner package, $160 for two, is available for guests to enjoy Coast Grille’s renowned “locavore” prix fixe dinner beginning at 8 p.m. Concert and concert/dinner tickets are available online at shop.princeresortshawaii.com or by calling 880-1111. Self-parking for the event will be complimentary.
