Shirley Ann Rizzo, 67, of Hilo died Dec. 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Rochester, N.Y., she was a retired social work supervisor for state Child Protective Services and member of Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church. Cremated remains will be blessed on Third Sunday of Advent Mass, 9 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 11) at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church, 326 Desha Ave. in Keaukaha.
