PEARL HARBOR — Angel Delgado had 16 points and 14 rebounds for his fourth double-double this season, and 27th of his career, to help Seton Hall beat Hawaii 68-57 in the Pearl Harbor Invitational on Tuesday.

PEARL HARBOR — Angel Delgado had 16 points and 14 rebounds for his fourth double-double this season, and 27th of his career, to help Seton Hall beat Hawaii 68-57 in the Pearl Harbor Invitational on Tuesday.

Delgado was 7 of 10 from the floor as Seton Hall shot 48 percent while holding Hawaii to 18-of-56 shooting. Khadeen Carrington made 7 of 12 field goals for 19 points and Desi Rodriguez and Madison Jones added 11 each for the Pirates (6-2).

Seton Hall led 33-25 at the break. Hawaii’s Brocke Stepteau, who finished with 17, nailed a 3 to close to 46-40 midway in the second half. Carrington responded with a jumper to start the Pirates on a 13-5 run and they coasted to the win.

Gibson Johnson added 12 points for Hawaii (4-4). Leading scorer Noah Allen missed all seven of his shots and failed to score a point. Second-leading scorer Sheriff Drammeh was just 2 of 10 from the field and finished with six points.

The games continue Wednesday with Seton Hall facing California, which beat Princeton 62-51 earlier Tuesday. Princeton will play Hawaii in the second game.
