The Orchid Isle Orchestra will perform “Rhapsody und Bloch” at 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at the East Hawaii Cultural Center, 141 Kalakaua St. in Hilo.

The Orchid Isle Orchestra will perform “Rhapsody und Bloch” at 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at the East Hawaii Cultural Center, 141 Kalakaua St. in Hilo.

The orchestra will play George Gershwin’s “Lullaby,” a string arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Ernest Bloch’s “Concerto Grosso No. 1” for strings and piano obbligato (played by Walter Greenwood), “Serenata” by Michael McLean and a Renata Bratt arrangement of “Silent Night” that includes motifs from other “night” music.
