The Waiakea senior earns kudos both for her high marks and consistency.

King fired a personal-best 276 on Friday at Waiakea, which was 12 points higher than any other shooter. To put that score in perspective, no shooter, male or female, averaged better than 276 at the 2015 HHSAA championships.

On Saturday, King’s aim was almost as steady in the prone, kneeling, and standing positions at Konawaena as she recorded a 275.
