Aloha Performing Arts Company will resume its roster of theater classes for all ages beginning the final week in August.

• Jerry Tracy’s “Tuesday Troupers” class for ages 8-12 returns from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Aug. 30 through Oct. 4. The six-week class focuses on performance skills such as projection, articulation and characterization. Tuition is $60 per student. A parent or responsible family representative must attend a brief meeting at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 30 immediately before the class officially begins.

• Nicole Gour resumes her “Keiki Theatre” class from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Aug. 31 through Oct. 5. The class consists of structured play and theater games, aimed at increasing self-confidence and developing basic group social and performance skills. Tuition is $60. A parent or responsible family member must attend a brief meeting at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31 immediately before the class officially begins.

• Felicity Johnson once again offers her “Intergenerational Acting” class, open to all ages, from 2-4 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 1 through Oct. 6. Tuition is $10 per meeting, or $60 for the entire session.

All classes are conducted at the historic Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu and each will culminate in a free performance open to the public on the last class day.

In addition, Engela Edwards continues as adviser of Aloha Teen Theatre, which meets from 4:30-7 p.m. Fridays in the APAC Loft, on the second floor of the building housing the King’s Daughters Thrift Store. Aloha Teen Theatre is ongoing and accepts new members between the ages of 13 and 18 at any time.
