Police are investigating the theft of a car in Kailua-Kona.

Between 6:45 and 7:15 a.m. Aug. 6, a gold Subaru Outback was removed from the parking lot of a shopping center on the 75-5800 block of Alii Drive.

Officers want to question a man whose image was captured on a surveillance camera. Anyone who knows his identity is asked to call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311, and ask for Officer Erich Jackson, or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
