Richard Miller Harrison, 77, of Kailua-Kona died July 21 at home. Born in Pineville, Ky., he was a retired director and research scientist at Tulane National Primate Research Center, associate professor of physiology at Tulane University School of Medicine, and 2011-12 recipient of Cambridge and Stanford universities Who’s Who.
