The University of Hawaii at Hilo’s College of Continuing Education and Community Service offers a pair of Adobe Photoshop Elements workshops with professional videographer and graphic designer Artin Mardirousi.

The University of Hawaii at Hilo’s College of Continuing Education and Community Service offers a pair of Adobe Photoshop Elements workshops with professional videographer and graphic designer Artin Mardirousi.

Sessions are 1-3 p.m. in UH-Hilo’s PB-7 (SeniorNet Lab). Tuition for each workshop is $75.

Part 1 (July 11-14) is designed for new Photoshop Elements users and will cover photo album organization, exposure, cropping, white balance, removing imperfections and correction techniques. Participants also will create print-ready photo albums to showcase their work.

No prior Photoshop experience is necessary, but basic computer experience is required and a flash drive is recommended.

Part 2 (July 19-27) will teach participants how to harness the power of Photoshop Elements by focusing on useful tools and applications.
